This RV water tank wall-mounted flush out fitting is designed primarily for black tanks, though it can also be installed in a gray tank. It is an aftermarket part that allows for the cleaning and rinsing of a black tank without the need to use a wand down the RV toilet. This fitting provides a simpler, cleaner, and more efficient way of maintaining the black tank.
To install the fitting, you will need to drill a 1-inch hole in the end of the tank. Next, you will apply a silicone or similar sealant that is advertised to bond to polyethylene. Insert the sprayer fitting into the tank, ensuring the sealant is between the tank wall and the fitting flange. Secure the flusher fitting to the tank using 3 screws (NOT PROVIDED), being careful not to overtighten.
This flush out fitting is made in the U.S.A. and is designed for rinsing out RV black and gray tanks. It is constructed from ABS plastic. Please note that the sealant and screws are not included with the product.
